6. Eye glasses doesn't work great but has worked,

• A compass is useful 

1. It would be good to learn about True north and Magnetic north, the compass needle will point to magnetic north, and depending where you live the compass would have to be adjusted by a certain number of degrees to give you a true north reading.
2. If you right or left handed and think you are walking in a straight line, you usually will go start to turn slowly turn right if you are right handed and left if left handed, which will leave you off course or walking in circles. 
3. Solution pick a land mark that can be seen from a distance Example a large tree, hill etc. and walk toward it.    
4. GPS - This is good for major roads, don't depend on it for use off major roads.

• Signaling Mirror

1. Great for signaling boats or planes
2.  It is hard to see a person in the water, use a signalling mirror to attract the attention of someone in a plane, boat or on land.  
3. A signalling mirror is safest made of metal and a hole in the middle to aim the mirror at the person being signaled.   

• First Aid Kit - (not just a few bandages)

• Suggestions (St. Johns Ambulance and I believe the Red Cross have different size First aid Kits.)
• You might want to include the following;

1. Bandages
2. Gauze
3. Gauze Pads to help apply pressure to area that bleeding. 
4. Tape 
5. Scissors
6. 4 Triangle Bandages to support an injured arm or fasten a splint to an injured arm or leg.
7. Fingernail clippers

•  Tools

1. Folding Shovel
2. Multi-tool
3. Jack knife
4. Small folding saw
5. Mini hatchet & hammer

1. Carry in small denominations and if possible some looneys and tooneys. (You may not be able to get change), 
2. In an emergency interac and ATM's (bank machines may not be working)
3. Carry in a money belt

3. Toilet paper

• Bring Things to Do

1. Bible or New testament
2. Song book
